Hello anchores, and welcome to the Forums!

Can you please give me some additional information?

1. What OS are you using?

2. What exact video card do you have?

3. What video driver version do you have installed?

Does the problem still exists if you turn off Hardware Acceleration?

Command: 3dConfig

Click the button next to On

i will work with it off for today and see if that works.  i had the video driver updated to latest version when i notice some of my text was not rendering.  i had to turn the hardware accelorator off to see it clearly.  should i have a diffent video card so i can keep the accelorator on and not freeze my program while working in 3d?  here is windows description of problem:

IF autodesk does not have a driver for your vard/software/OS combo, you will need to start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and turn off hardware acceleration.

anchores;

Here is what the Autodesk Certified Hardware recommends for your OS and AutoCAD version:

NVIDIA Quadro K2200

The recommended version is 354.56 (or 341.21 if the 354.56 has any issues), and you can download either from the above link, or go to Nvidia.

Latest is not always greatest in AutoCAD.

You can always go to Certified Hardware to see Autodesk recommended video hardware and driver versions based on your OS and AutoCAD version.
