"Angled and Curved Lines Display Differently from Straight Lines in AutoCAD"

I'm experiencing an issue in AutoCAD where angled and curved lines appear lighter than straight 90-degree lines, even though they are all on the same layer, with the same line weight and properties. This problem persists in both model space and layout, and it seems to happen specifically with non-orthogonal lines (angled or curved). I've already checked the following:

• Line weights are consistent across all lines.
• All lines are on the same layer according to their layers.
• I've used LTSCALE and REGEN to refresh the display.
• Graphics settings like hardware acceleration and smooth line display have been adjusted.

This issue does not affect straight 90-degree lines, which appear correctly with the assigned weight. Could this be related to display settings or something else? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Have you installed the 2023.1.6 / 2024.1.5 / 2025.1 Update yet? You never quite state your year version, so that latest is what I listed. ABOUT command in your AutoCAD will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards.

If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD 2023-24-25 that you have.

Also consider turning off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables: if still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort, if that totally fixes the issue then start a support ticket through your subscription portal as explained here

I just opened your drawing and on my screen all looks great.

Ran Audit and no errors.

Your XREFs did not show up but they are PNGs and should not affect the viewing.

But just in case, try this, XREF and UNLOAD the (2) XREFs

you have in your drawing and see if that does change your viewing.

If so, try using DRAWORDER on the XREFs and put them behind your lines.

You opted to not save any plot parameters in your DWG file, and you never mentioned before now that those screenshots are from your PDF viewer.

Try changing your PDF viewer.

Try changing your PDF viewer display settings.

Try changing your plot scale and size. and pen settings (plot style table? LWEIGHT?)

Try changing your PDF driver. And it's output settings.

Or is it your monitor?

Some lines will always look a little jagged on a screen, this is not paper printing.
