Questions about ACAD R14 ...

My boss has been using ACAD R14 since it came out on a computer that is older than the software.  The computer is finally dying and we got a new one that operates on Windows 10.  What i need to know is can I transfer ACAD R14 software we have to this new system, would it even work?  Or is there a newer version of the R14 that we can purchase?  Or is there a different program we need to get that will allow him to work along the same lines as R14?  Thanks in advance for any information because I have no clue about any of the ACAD products.

I doubt it....  But I'm not an expert in such things -- I suggest you go over to the Installation & Licensing Forum, where people hang out who are more likely to know whether there's a way to make that work.

Hi,

I would create a virtual system (e.g. VirtualBox), install your old operating system as well as your old AutoCAD in that system, then it's independent of every newer operating system.

The issue you might have in any way ... to reach your plot device 😉
