publishcollate=1 is not working the way it is supposed to do.

I have versions 2014 and 2015 and SP1 installed.

Any solutions?

System Varible PUBLISHCOLLATE 1 = A published sheet set is processed as a single job. A multi-sheet PLT file is created. If the sheet set is published, it is never interleaved with other plot jobs.

In what way is it not producing the result your seeking or expecting?

Without more details it hard to make any suggestions.

Ok, here it comes:

I have 10 layouts at same drawing and want to print those as a single PDF with 10 pages.

I set Publishcollate=1 and start PUBLISH.

(This is the only way to print several layouts at the same time as far as I know!)

In PUBLISH dialog page it says: File type: Multi-sheet file.

Despite that I get 10 PDF:s, each for one layout.

I noticed this behavior for the latest versions of AutoCAD. I am running, 2012 up to 2015 versions!

@leothebuilder I was going to ask for more detail too, the statement is so bland. Then I decided to define and bold what the variable does.

Try setting all the layouts using Page Setup Manager

Make sure you select all the layout tabs...e.g. use the CTRL key and select all the layouts, right click and select "Publish all Selected Layouts".

In the Publish dialog that pops up click on the Options button and make sure that TYPE is set to Multi-Sheet.

P.S. also check the Auto Publish setting in Options on the Plot & Publish tab.

@leothebuilder Why is it when I use Auto Publish it always includes the model space? I have the issue in AutoCAD 2013, but not 2015 or 2016.

I believe there is an option to select layout and/or model space for publishing, just deselect the model space.
