Publish vs. Plot

My boss is opening and marking up drawings on a Samsung S7+ tablet, using PDF Viewer version 2024.6. This wasn't a problem until a few weeks ago. Suddenly when I 'publish' multiple sheets he can open the file but isn't able to see any mark ups he makes on the drawings. If I 'plot' individual sheets and combine them into a single file, it isn't a problem - obviously this is frustrating and time consuming. Any suggestions on why this would be happening? Thank you.

So... can you see the markups on your PC PDF viewer/editor?
Can the boss do the same on their PC/Laptop?

"suddenly" means you are doing something completely different: what is that? I can't tell from your post if you tried that yet.

If you PLOT and PUBLISH to the same exact Autodesk provided PDF driver, they should be identical in output. It would appear you may not be doing so.

Turning PDF markups on/off is done at the PDF driver level (not an option in Autodesk provided drivers) as well as in the reader/editor that is opening those PDF files (you don't mention if the Boss is exploring there too).

Thank you for your response.

I can see the markups on my PC, and my boss can see them on his as well.

I'm plotting and publishing 'DWG to PDF' on both publish and plot commands. I am beginning to assume the problem is with his tablet. He's looking into buying a full PDF editor program instead of the viewer he's currently using.

Thanks again.

Looks like your boss has a problem with the PDF Viewer on their tablet: there is nothing you can do as far as I know only in AutoCAD since your PDFs work everywhere else. Sorry. You need access to their tablet, then start turning on options that got turned off (or get them a different PDF viewer).

You and them need to visit the support of their tablet PDF app or the tablet creator.
