Proxy Graphics Information dialog box ALWAYS on

Anonymous

Hello,

I'm trying to keep my proxy graphics dialogue box from popping up all the time when I open CAD.

I've been through the process of going to Options -> Open and Save -> ObjectARX Applications and "unchecked" the "Show Proxy Information dialogue box" which I understand also changes the command "PROXYNOTICE" to "0".

However, every time I open my CAD to a drawing that has proxy graphics, it still pops up and I have to go through the motions all over again.

I've also tried recreating a new profile, which was even more of a nuisance considering all the trusted files I had to re-browse for.

I'm running AutoCAD 2019 AECC. This problem has only started since I started using 2019...

Any ideas as to how to fix?

You either have a startup turning it on for you, or your Windows log-in is restricting your ability to write to the Registry.

Did you also use the migration tool to move content from an older version to your AutoCAD2019?

Why not get the necessary object enablers?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I tried to migrate my settings, however, it didn't want to for whatever reason (it was a while ago now to remember the exact reason or error code).
