Proxy Entities will not display in ACAD 2018

I am running ACAD 2018 on an annual subscription - I've received a survey file that when I open contains proxy entities which are all displaying as empty boxes with the text "AeccDbCogoPoint (AeccLand120)".  I have found no settings to update or object enablers for 2018, and I cannot manipulate or otherwise gain any information from these proxy points.  Prior to subscribing to ACAD 2018, I was running ACAD 2016LT, and do not recall having this problem with a prior version of the same survey.

Any ideas or direction would be appreciated - in the meantime, I'll request a new copy from the surveyor with the Cogo Points exploded.

Thank You!

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Land Desktop is pretty old but I believe the Civil 3D object Enabler might make this work for you.

Another option would be to request the file that had been converted to AutoCAD objects using the exporttoautocad command.

If you want to send me your file at john.vellek@autodesk.com I can try it on my side too.
