Dear Forum,
I have drawn some wooden slats as 2D rectangles, each one numbered, dimensioned (the lenght in the middle) and converted to a block:
Wooden slat, dimensioned, saved as a block
The number in the middle of the slat is a real dimension (I have suppressed the dimension lines, to see only the text), so If I edit the block modifying the lenght of the rectangle, the number inside it changes too.
Now I have to draw a table with all the lenghts of such these slats, listed one below the other, and I'd like to "link" the numbers inside the cells to the respective rectangles, in a way that whenever I adjusted one slats lenght, the number would change automatically also inside the cell:
Is it possible?
I have tried different ways, for example sub-blocking the dimension inside the rectangle and pasting a copy of it inside the cell, enlarged, but I missed: if I edit the slat and change the lenght, the number inside the table doesn't change.
Thank you for the support.
