Should it take Support a week to contact you when you have reached out for help and they have created a Case # for you?

How did you reach out to them?  What is your issue?  Post it here and you may not need support.

I use ProjectSymbols and when I click the part # tab or the SIF Out tab the dialog boxes under these tabs are somewhere in the background of my computer but I can't get to them.

Two coworks have had these issues in the past and said someone from autoDesk got on their compuers to fix it.

ProjectSymbols? Is this a 3rd party add-on?
Is your AutoCAD session window maximized?

Not sure what you are describing is an AutoCAD issue, sounds like you have windows covering other windows/pop-ups.

No, it's an AutoCAD issue.  The other ladies in our office who also had this issue had our IT look at their computers and they had to have AutoDesk fix it.

Hello @Anonymous,

Please locate the plug-in on your computer, is it placed in one of the ApplicationPlugins or ApplicationAddins folders on the local drive?

  1. Make sure the plug-in is installed & placed in one of the ApplicationPlugins or ApplicationAddins folders
  2. Make sure you installed it with Administrator permissions (full control)

  3. Check the APPAUTOLOAD system variable it controls the load behavior for plug-ins  When APPAUTOLOAD is set to 0, no plug-ins are loaded unless you manually use the APPAUTOLOADER command dialog window to load it.

Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.

That's all fine and dandy for the other ladies, but since no one here is "autodesk", you need to try a bit harder for us to try and help you out.

Is what you are describing be better explained as "...windows covering other windows/pop-ups..."
Can you post screenshots from your PC and from one of the other PCs so we can see the difference?

If you log-in as an all new user on your PC (your IT will need to help) does the problem go away?
