Process for plotting

I am trying to plot using Page Set Up Manager and Plot.  It keeps plotting on 8.5 x 11 and this is not right. Here are my steps.

1. Select Printer - AutoCAD pdf

2. Select paper size 36x24 landscape

3. Select plot offset 0.0

4. Select OK

5. Select Page Setup (what do you select here?)

6. Select close

Supposedly, at this point your sheet of paper should appear except it does not. What am I doing wrong?

Can you share the resulting PDF file?

If you have Page Setups saved, then in the Plot window choose the Page Setup from the Page setup Name drop down list and click Apply to Layout. Also you may want to click on the arrow on the lower right hand corner to see more settings.

Greetings @chezronify

Are you still using all the wrong predefined pagesetup and corrupt layouts again, similar to your older post https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/scale-issues/m-p/11694613#M1096706

May I ask why your PLOT dialog box is only half open?

AutoCAD in this little preview with red lines is telling you that the window selection has cut off your content, perhaps that is also a contributing factor

What do I do instead? I don't see any way to keep my original drawing and then discard my layouts? I have many layouts now. How do I start from scratch? Is there some way you can give me the steps for starting over? I have no idea what went wrong and how to fix it?

Paul,

I see you have the printer circled. Why is that? Please help me understand how to discard all of my layouts and how to start fresh? I want to discard my layouts and begin with my original model. If you were starting with my original model I would first use setup manager and then plot? Is that correct? I have no idea why I keep getting this red line and what to do about it?

I wouldn't discard your layouts just because you can't print them correctly. Please share a sample drawing file so these kind people can help you out.

@RobDraw  see the OP's original post, samples over there are posted, appears to be the same issue, continued https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/scale-issues/m-p/11694613#M1096706

I got it to work. Turns out you right click to delete any layouts you don't want. I started again by following advice to use and prepare the Set Up Manager and the plot.  Thank you so much! It seems like AutoCAD files can get corrupted. This has been my issue for several procedures. Unfortunately, since I am new to AutoCAD I don't know when corruption happens and when to start over.  Thank you for all of your help.
