Problems with the dimensions

Hello, I have been working with AutoCAD for a couple of months and I still can't figure out this problem. When I draw something with the actual dimensions, it looks extremely small. I've changed the units to metres but then when I want to make a 10 meters line it's super small, so I zoom in a lot, but then when I transform it to PDF it looks small again.

This is the drawing with the correct sizeThis is the drawing with the correct sizeThis is the units tab, in meters and the drawing looking tiny even with the correct dimensionsThis is the units tab, in meters and the drawing looking tiny even with the correct dimensions

Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

Your drawing is small compared to what? You may need just to zoom ( Extents ) .

@soniamg the second screenshot you added is NOT how to change units in a DWG file in AutoCAD to meters (you are also not quite reading what that label says above METERS either): you want to use DWGUNITS command instead then consciously and deliberately know how to answer all the following prompts it asks for.

So "too small" would be you still drawing in mm/cm because you never changed the actual DWG file's units, but then again, you also seem to be shy about using ZOOM too for some reason, a core AutoCAD ability we all use 1000s of time a day in the program to move around our drawings. Remember, this is not paper drafting anymore.
