Problems with hatch patterns not transferring between seats.

Hello,

So I am having a really unique problem that I have never seen before even searching the forums. I created a drawing in AutoCAD LT 2018 and created a key map with 4 hatches on different layers so they can be frozen by viewport in paper space. I have no problem viewing all of the hatches and they show up in the viewports exactly how I designed it. The issue is that my coworker who also needs to access the drawings and add design to it, just one of the four hatches wont display. He also has AutoCAD LT 2018. He has tried to simply just put in a new hatch but for what every reason it just wont let him do so in that one area. We have tried manipulating it several ways and can get the hatch with the same boundaries to display in other areas of the drawing but not right where it needs to be. It is very bizarre and I am not sure if anyone has encountered this before. We have moved where we placed the hatch so many times but whenever it needs to be placed near the other 3 hatches it disappears. I still have no issues seeing all four hatches at my seat.

Can you share the actual DWG file with us here and point to the hatch pattern in question?

The problem is with the green hatch patterns in model space.

Get rid of this short segment at the upper right and do the polyline again, let's see.

they are all green and all four are visible here: am I missing something, or is my PC acting like yours where we can both see all four hatches (ANSI31, 200 scale, 0 angle etc.)?

That's what it looks like for me on my computer as well. All of that is right. For whatever reason when my coworker opens it up the D block hatch is missing and when he tries to put hatch in that space, even if he completely redraws the outline and border, it won't take.

The file is the same, just one Hatch disappear on the other system?

An CTRL+A will select all hatches, incl. the missing one?

Then:

Your coworkers HPMAXLINES is set to 100 (or 101) and the Hatch needs 102 lines.

So set HpMaxLines back to default to 1000000 or 10000000 and all works as expected.

So long that a hatch need not more lines as HpMaxLines alowwed.

Thanks! That worked! Couldn't figure it out because the hatch wouldn't show up in that one area on his computer. Appreciate it!
