Problems exporting .stl file

Hello, 

I have exported a file from thingiverse, converted to .dxf file and then scaled it to autocad (i.e. from inches to mm and then scaled it ). 

When i try to export to .stl i nothing happens when i select my object.

Help anyone?

STL export only works on very specific object types: is that the error you get at the commandline? Show us your DWG file if you are unsure.
