Hi,

>> it keeps giving duplicated in the command window and not pasting

Can you please show a screenshot of what you are seeing in the command line?

And are you sure it was not pasting? Have you tried to paste into a new drawing, have you done a zoom-extents after pasting?

Hi,

what you are seeing is not an error message, it's just the information that AutoCAD recognized that a block-definition "_Oblique" already exists in the destination drawing, so it does not need to copy the definition of the block, but it does paste what you have in the clipboard.

If you can paste the content of the clipboard into a new drawing, you can also paste it into any other drawing.

The only thing you need to take care about: whenever a definition (block-definition, text-style, dimension-style, ..) already exists in the destination drawing AutoCAD will use these definitions when pasting the geometry.

That can make things difficult, e.g. if you want to copy blocks named "TABLE" (defined as rectangular shapes) but you already  have a block called "TABLE" (same name, but this time defined to be circular) in the destination drawing then pasting geometry will paste ==> insertions of block "TABLE" at the points of your source dwg, but the shape as it's already defined in the destination dwg. So you copied rectangular tables and pasting shows round tables, just because the block-defintion "TABLE" already existed.

hello,
i tried to redefine all blocks before copying and paste from anther file, but it doesn't success.

is there any alternative way to do it?

I found if i use anther PC at the office  the (copy-paste) success , but on my PC it doesn't success.

so i think it's a problem in the software any way to solve it ?

Hi,

IT does not matter, how blocks are defined. As long as block definitions exist in the source drawing and the destination drawing with the same name you'll get that message about duplicated definitions.

But for now we (I) don't really know what else happens, what ends with no success. The message itself is not a problem, it's just a message/an information.

Attach the 2 drawings, the source dwg with the objects you want to copy and the destination dwg, where you want to paste the geometry so we can test with that data.

Also describe step-by-step what you are doing, what you get in AutoCAD command line displayed and what you expected.

Do you have a clean AutoCAD installed on your computer with a problem?
Are there any add-ons or
Object Enabelers ?
