Hi dean,

I know how to print from model space, I don't know how to print a paper with a A3 width and a length of 3 m

HI @bespel,

Are you printing to a PDF or to a piece of hardware?  If you can provide me with a sample drawing that includes your pagesetup, PC3, PMP, and Plot style (just put them in a ZIP file and attach to your post), I am happy to show you how you can adjust this length.

Hi Jown,

thank you.

Not pdf, just real paper. I don't have a sample for you.

Hi @bespel,

Which printer are you sending it to? Do you have a PC3 that you use or are you using the "System Printer".  Creating a custom paper size in the setup can sometimes vary by the driver being used.

HI @bespel,

I am happy to show you how to adjust both but I need to know to which device/driver what you are printing.  I will try to find the same driver and install on my system so I can record how to do this.  Please also tell me  which version of Windows you are using and which version of AutoCAD.

Hi John,

you are very kind.

I have win 10, AutoCAd 2018.

I don't know the plotter info.

It was requested to me to do that next week, i want to be prepared.

Doesn't matter the way i will obtain it (system, ac3, from pdf), i would like to be prepared to do that in the simplest and functional way.

I am afraid that that could be so difficult as it seems

Hi @bespel,

I decided to start by showing you how to make a custom paper size in one of the default AutoCAD PDF PC3 files. It should be fairly similar process for most drivers but next week when you find out which plotter, we can tackle that individually if you get stuck.

At any rate, please review this quick video I made.  I start PAGESETUP manager to create a custom one for this paper size. I select my PDF PC3 device and then go into Properties and then customize the paper size.

Next week, if you need help but you can always print to this PDF custom paper and then send the PDF to the printer/plotter.  Some plot drivers have standard sheets set and others can auto-trim so those are settings you might need to adjust either at the piece of hardware or in the print driver.

I hope this helps.
