Press OK button with Enter

Heyy guys,

At my work I work with Autocad, Fabrication CADmep 2018 and many more. Is it possible to press the OK button with enter to work faster? I already got a 3dconnexion spacemouse to work faster. But the only thing is, I every time needs to click on the OK button with my left-mouse click. Does anyone have suggestions to press the OK button with only Enter or a button on the Spacemouse? I couldn't find a solution for this. Would make my work a lot faster.

Kind regards,

Robert

Hi,

sorry, I don't understand that:

>> press the OK button with enter

Can you please show us a sample like

  • LINE<ENTER>   ...start line command
  • 0,0<ENTER>     ...start point
  • 10,5<ENTER>   ...end point
  • <ENTER>          ...finish the line command

Where do you need now more then <ENTER> to be faster?

Or what is the difference for you between "OK" and <ENTER> (<ENTER> is a key on the keyboard, I'm not sure what you mean by "OK" in terms of AutoCAD typed sequences).

sounds like the OP's referring to commands that have dialog windows like the Insert command where you have to click the OK button to complete the command.

I have seen this asked before. I have looked a few times but never found an answer. I just did tons of tests to figure it out. cntl enter, alt enter, etc... I don't know if I changed something with a short cut I tried but now when I open the insert dialog box, if I just press enter it picks ok. I tried on my co-workers computer and return is like hitting OK in his insert box too.

Hi,

No not that easy, I already passed those simple things. It's more I use other programs with Autocad like Fabrication CADmep to make products for the customer. I made an easy picture at home for what I mean. I hope you can see it too. For those OK buttons I couldnt find a command or something to press with exept my left-mouse click.

Has anyone figured out how to press Ok on dialog with enter button. Event  Tried using a mx3 mouse with button actions.   What I would like to happen is when editing setting in dialog is to be able to press enter on the model screens OK to speed up editing.  (without moving the mouse over ok and pressing mouse button) Since my hands are already on the key board with the dialog window active.  Suggestions

For a semi solution...

Pressing tab and then enter works quite well.

For multi-text, I found that Ctrl+Enter is the same as selecting OK.  I haven't found anything that works for attribute edit (ate or attedit).  I have tried to tab to the ok, but pressing enter then doesn't work.  Any ideas?
