Poor Quality of JPG & TIFF Files

Poor Quality of JPG & TIFF Files

Hi, Can anyone advise how to create a top quality JPEG image ( or TIFF )??  I've just tried the PublishToWebJPG and initially thought it wasn't too bad but when you zoom in the clarity is bad - this maybe down to the drawing size perhaps??  I have also tried a TIFF and this is mega blocky.  Even the EPS version is shocking and totally unusable.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

What is your final intent with this image? Explain, there might be better solutions. I suspect you probably ought to be publishing to PDF instead as I look at your posted image.

BTW The name of the driver is PUBLISH TO WEB: web picture publishing resolution is about as low as you can go. Did you know that?

Try and change the output settings before you use that plotter again and see if you get better results. Same with Tiff and EPS drivers you may have. Looks like you are trying to print to a tabloid size paper size.

Also explore JPGOUT or PNGOUT commands after you set RASTERDPI to something more desirable than the default setting.

Dean had some great suggestions. Did any of them help.

As for my two sense. I would recommend trying to adjust the RASTERDPI setting, testing plot to PDF, as well as the following workflows.
