POLYLINE TO SPLINE WITH NODES RESOLUTION CONTROL - AUTOCAD 2018

Hello,

I'm looking for a command that allows me to set the number of nodes, the resolution, of the converted spline from a polyline that has curved lines over it. PEDIT does not work. I know there is a command that asks for the option where you can set the number of points ... but I can not find it any more ...

If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you,

I don't know where you are in the process but

1) use pedit to spline fit if it is still a polyline.

2) use spline object to convert it to a spline

3) Select the spline and, in the properties palette, choose the degree. Higher degrees add more points.  You can also choose control verticies vs fit.  You can also grip select individual verticies and refine.

Thank you Professor,

unfortunately this does not work for me. I have a simple polyline rectangle that has been transformed creating curves in each segment and this final shape I need to perfectly transform into a spline. I used to use a command where I could set the number of dots that the default was 1000 points. In the end, the shape is almost perfect, in fact for the scale I'm working on it's ok to use 1000, but if you zoom in on the ' corners', they are rounded for sure.

Using the PEDIT command, the first operation deforms my form, and I can not redraw this, there are hundreds to be done at the same time ...

I forgot the command, I remember it was a big name, and I can not find it anymore in all WWW....

Best,

You want more nodes, then try this:

Thank you! It's different from what I was looking for, but it solves my problem!
