Polyline problem and entering coordinates in AutoCAD

Hello,

I have an issue in ACAD 2019, here goes:

I'm trying to draw a polyline using stereografic coordinates - I select "Polyline" and start introducing the starting point coordinates, for example: 388605.501,494726.046, the polyline starts where it should, so far so good, BUT, when I'm introducing the next set of coordinates and hit enter instead of placing the next vertex where it should be, it catapults it very very far from where it should be.

What causes this? Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

P.S. In ACAD 2013 drawing a polyline by introducing coordinates worked fine.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anonymous,

Are you using dynamic input to enter the coordinates?  Perhaps this article will help. It describes how you can use a # to enter absolute coordinates or how to configure dynamic input to accept absolute instead of relative.
