Hi,

>> autocad 2017

Which update/service pack do you have installed? Start command _ABOUT, there you can see the exact version, should be 2017.1.2 ==> this supports DPI-scaling and so your issue with disappearing popup should be solved.

Also necessary to verify: which graphic card do you have and which driver version? Please start command _GRAPHICSCONFIG and show us the screenshot from that dialog.

You need to be running AutoCAD 2017.1.2 version: use ABOUT command to confirm what you have then install the required updates.

Or move to AutoCAD 2018 or AutoCAD 2019 which have better hi-res monitors support.

But.... running AutoCAD on a 15" screen was an unwise purchase to begin with either way.

i already updated cad to 1.2 version

and it's a laptop so all i have would be a 17" monitor at best  and certainly it's not enough for 4k display

You wrote 15" on a earlier response... . Not sure? Need a tape measure?

As a test, only a test, if your display was set at 125% (or 100%) scaling does the problem go away? Find out for sure because no one at Autodesk is going back to fix R2017 on high-res monitors anymore since they want all of us using R2019 now.

saadallah ,

what i wanna say is that it's a laptop and at best cases you will have 17" instead of 15" _which i have _

and it isn't a big difference

display ratio 100% is shrinking icons ,words ,apps display window   to less than  1/3 !

oh , thank you for your efforts to solve a R2017 prob.
