Hey!

Hey! I draw cracks in concrete with polylines and give each polyline a layer . I want to get a table that shows each polyline with thier layer, length and width. Is there anyone who can help me with this? I have attached a picture so that you can see what I mean.

Use Table, and use Fields and pick the object.

I have thought of that solution but there are over 1000 cracks and if I were to do it manually it could take a very long time. Is there any possibility to export information about polylines from data fields? That is, a smart solution, where I mark the lines and get the length, width and layer type in table form.

Hi @Anonymous

You can achieve that by "DATAEXTRACTION"

Here is an article on how to data extract: Data extraction in AutoCAD and everything about it

Hi @vinodkl

Yes exactly but it requires blocks. I do not know how to get past that.

Hi @Anonymous

I don't see the pic to be part of data extraction. You can extract data of not only blocks but also lines, plines circles etc..

Type in the command "DX" and follow the steps. There is a total of 8 steps involved.

Here is how it would look when you start with data extraction(see snapshot)

Follow the instruction as said in the link provided in the earlier post:cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:
