Plotting styles not showing in viewports to model space

Hello,

I am running into a few issues when trying to print files that have viewports windowing to model space. We just started using sheet set manager with model space views, so our setup is that several 3d objects are xrefed into the model space of the drawing that I am trying to print from, and the paper space of that drawing has viewports into the model space. I am trying to print from paper space with the hidden visual style in the viewports. My problem is that when I go to print the drawing, my ctb plot style does not appear to have an effect on the objects in model space in the viewports. The lines and text in paper space, however, are impacted by the plot style. I want all my lines to plot in black with default line weights. I am using the monochrome.ctb plotstyle.

I have tried the workaround of using VP overrides to change the colors in viewports to white, and this works fine for the color problem, but the line weights are still all over the map. The line weights appear to fade around the profile of a 3d object, like a pipe.

Any thoughts on how to get 3d objects in viewports to abide by plot styles when using the hidden visual style?

The plot style sticks when I use legacy hidden or wireframe visual styles, but I don't like all the extra lines. Please help!

Hello simonk6YUUK,

I suggest you Remove Viewport Overrides for all viewports and set the plot styles to each layer.

I would also make sure your layers have no Transparency (see below):
