Plotting of sheets in layout(not batch plotting)

Hi ,I have different floor plans of building set at a specific distance from each other in the model space.

My query,Is there a solution while composing sheets in layout space I can type a certain command, so for example ground floor appears in ground floor sheet layout(considering I have created the ground floor sheet layout),first floor appears in first floor sheet layout (considering I havecreated the first floor sheet layout) and so on, without actually panning inside the viewport and adjust the floor plans to appear in the desired page.

Hi,

Since you have different floor plans of building set at a specific distance from each other in the model space, then you have to do a separate view port for each plan manually . So ... if you prepare and finished your gr floor plan paper space layout you can take a copy from this layout and change your plan by panning .

Hi,

I am already using this suggested method by you. What I am saying is say I have created seperate layout and viewport for each floor plans. To create first floor layout i will create copy of ground floor layout and rename it as first floor layout and then go inside the viewport, pan and set the first floor plan.

So instead of panning to get the first floor plan can I type some value inside viewport so that my first floor appears in the layout.

as i understand … pick inside your new VP and type -PAN command then pick with your mouse to the new direction and enter the distance between plans to get it exactly in the vp .  click on below image

Hi @madhuryya_prakash ,

Instead of using "PAN"  try using "-PAN" wherein you can specify the distance of pan. First set the ground floor layout and then copy the layout. Measure the distance between the floor plans in modelspace and keep a note of it. Now activate the viewport of the copied layout of the ground floor and then enable ortho (F8) and then type in the command "-PAN" and then select the basepoint and then move in the opposite direction your floor plans are placed and then type the distance between the floor which you have measured earlier:cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

Both solutions that you marked use PAN. You said that you didn't want to use pan.

We'll put that one in the "Things that make you go hmmm..." file.
