I am tech suport for a dealer selling Canon and Savin (Ricoh) plotters.Y esterday we installed a new Savin plotter in an account that already has a Savin plotter (they now have 2 units). We test plotted to the new plotter fine from ACad 2007lt.
Today, when the operator plots to her older plotter, it plots on the new machine and she sees the message below.
On her worksataion, she has 2 Savin PS drivers (one for each plotter, different names / ip address ports) and 2 HDI drivers (different names).
Any ideas are welcome and thanks-
MESSAGE: (null) : You have at least one Windows System Printer configured for IP_192.168.2.206, so the HDI driver cannot open IP_192.168.2.206 directly. The output will be spooled through a System Printer, which usually works fine. (We have tried to select a System Printer that will not corrupt the output.) The HDI I/O port configuration will not, however, take effect. To allow direct output to IP_192.168.2.206, all System Printers configured to use IP_192.168.2.206 must be reconfigured not to use IP_192.168.2.206. The appearance of this dialog may be controlled in Tools/Options/Plotting.

Update- We wre advised by Ricoh to un-install and re-install both the PS and hdi drivers on this workstation. After doing so, we still have the issue where the plots are always directed to the same plotter regardless of which plotter we choose in ACad. This only occurs when printing from ACad. The ACAD dialog box indicates that the prints are going to the selected printer / ip address, and yet the plots come put on the other printer. We are sure we have the 2 hdi drivers pointing to their respective ip addresses. Very strange.
