Plot style table missing on Plot Tab

Hello, i have a serious problem with plotting. I have AUTOCAD 2010.

I had all my plot styles working great. I was selecting Plot and then the plot style i wanted etc.

Suddenly, without changing any setting when i Select "Plot" the Plot style table is missing. I can't import the plot styles even though there are in the plot style folder and the path is right. When i try to import them i go to the right path and when its time to select the plotstyles (.ctb) they dont appear, it seems that it doesnt recognise them. I dont know if "Add-A-Plot Style Table Wizard" shortcut doesnt work (it says "the drive or network that this shortcut "...." refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again)

Maybe the drawing you are trying to plot is setup to print with .stb in stead of .ctb   If so you can use the CONVERTPSTYLES command to convert the drawing to .ctb

Hi @Anonymous,

I replied in your other thread on the default settings for that wizard.

Have you tried those settings?  Also, is this happening in all your drawings or just unique ones?

Do you normally have all these settings stored locally or on the network? Is it possible that you have a Roaming profile and it is not getting fully resolved?

@user181 also points out that if the drawing is using STB instead of CTB you have other options to explore.

Please reply back so we can get you up and running normally.

I think your folder that includes plot style files have been set not permission.

You can check Plotstyles folder default path in OPTION dialog

When you see the Plotsyles folder. Get into properties of the folder - go to security tab - and then see your user checking permission status which can be allowed get the folder.

If user permission has been checked deny, Select the Allow check box all of the things.

This Link is How to handle to allow the folder to permission for you.

Have you tried restarting your PC? You might have lost network connection and it hasn't come back online.

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you attach your file and the plot style you think it should be using? I would like to see if there is some corruption in the drawing.  I have seen this happen in a bad layout where I could not select my plot style. Moving the drawing contents to a new file and recreating the layout fixed the issue for me.
