Plot Style - Print Vs. PDF Settings

Plot Style - Print Vs. PDF Settings

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have a networked .dwt file that all my people default to as qnew.  I set that file up with a plot style for printing and one for pdf.

Depending on who is printing they get different results.  It's like the settings are sticking for everyone.  I'll find myself even needing to redefine the plot settings.  It will show up in the plotter name as "Adobe PDF.pc3" but sometimes it appears as like no settings have been defined.

I have the network "Printer Configuration Search Path" set in the file directory.  The CTB settings work perfectly across all workstations - it's just this plotting issue.

Thoughts?

Thank you.

You have one plot style to print to a printer (hardcopy) and one plot style to print to PDF?

Are these two .ctb plot styles?

Are these two plot styles on a network and do all users have this network location in their Plot Style Table Search Path?

Why would you need two plot styles?

Do you want different results printing to hardcopy and PDF?

Are you all on the same Autocad version?
