Plot Style Missing

I was given a drawing to make changes and replot, they have their own plotstyle that they use. I was given that file and have it in the Plotters--> Plot Styles folder, However it still says that the style is missing in AutoCAD. Did I miss a step?

Did you restart autocad after putting the plot style into the folder?

Yes, AutoCAD has been restarted. I was given an .stb file and the plotstyle
is missing a .ctb file, is there an easy conversion of file types that
needs to be done?

You can use the CONVERTPSTYLES command to convert the drawing from one plot style to the other.
