Plot preview not reflecting lineweight - specifically multileaders

This should be simple but its not working out that way. All I want to do is have a thinner lineweight applied to the leader line for my multi-leaders. I currently have copied some multi-leaders and applied a different linweight setting to each but they all preview/ plot the same. When previewing with LWDISPLAY the differences are seen but not when plotting.

Oddly I have plotted once with the lineweight as I would like but I cannot get that same result again. I was trying to get a better result but now I cannot even get that result.

Solved.

Earlier I read that its not the best idea to have both a color table to control lineweights in addition to using object lineweights. Now I know why firsthand. I haven't ever been a obj lw kinda guy but when trying to balance the visual of the leader line & the text I started messing with it today.

The solution I found is to adjust my CTB file to have a color not defined by a linewidth. By setting the properties of my chosen color to be "use object lineweight" I can utilize the object lineweight control for my multileaders. Hooray! All that is needed at this point is to define my mleaderstyle to specify that chosen color as the color properties for leaderlines & leave the text color properties to bylayer so I can control that by layer color - I like a different text color for existing, demo & new. Sadly my leader lines now will not follow that color scheme but sometimes you get what you get with AutoCAD.

Hopefully this helps anyone else trying to solve this little hiccup.
