I would like to format the plan set signature in tif format with a transparent background so it is not bordered by a white box. When I insert this image, it appears all black because both the background and foreground are black. However, when attaching a different parcel map tif, the foreground is shown as the selected color. Attached are a crop of my signature along with the parcel map that displays correctly. Can anyone say how to format an image that renders akin to this parcel map?
Hint: attached are screenshots from both images in photoshop; note the signature is configured over a transparent background while the parcel map is all on one layer. How does ACAD distinguish the background in this parcel map image?
I have tried creating a tif of my sign (attached) that appears like that of the parcel map, but when inserted to a drawing the background is rendered white instead of black.
The goal is something akin to the parcel map as shown in my previous post. Despite natively showing a white background and black foreground (& without transparency in photoshop), AutoCAD renders it with a black background and foreground that matches the selected object color. See attached screenshot of this file which you can verify from 'parcel map.tif' in my original post. Anyone know how to configure an image file to behave in this way?
