Pen Settings and Paperspace colors

We recently upgraded computers so we are all resetting settings and options trying to get things the way we like them.  But one of my guys has managed to set ACAD so that his paperspaces change their colors based on his pen settings.  (ie he is printing using monochrome so all his lines are showing up as black in paperspace)  At first we thought something had chnaged on the template but the other machines still show things in color.  Anyone have any idea what setting controls this so we can get it back the way its supposed to be?

Use PAGESETUP command and select modify then uncheck Display plot styles in the upper right corner under Plot style table

" but the other machines still show things in color. "

Impossible. All machines shows the monochrome (if the plotstyle-table is available and with the same settings).

Why? Go to the Layout, start command PAGESETUP and edit the current pagesetup for this layout,

upper right corner.. [X] Display plotstyles

If another computer display the layout differently, the plotstyle-table is not available or another one.
