PDS Line/Sign - non UK traffic standards

Hi everyone!

I use PDS line & PDS sign for UK road markings and traffic sign drawings, I'm wondering is it possible to use it for other countries standards or is that a separate module that they supply?

I'm more interested in the road markings than the traffic signs as we can build up a library of sign faces ourselves but the road markings are great for quantities etc.

I know it's not an autodesk product, but as there's a few users here i thought i'd ask here first. I can't find info on their website about which other countries standards they might support.

Hi,

as we have a plugin for traffic signs and road marking too the only one I can tell you is that every country has it's own signs and markings. In theory they look equal, but there are minimal differences and so at least you need to create different symbolic for different countries (that's what we needed to do e.g. for Austria, Germany and Switzerland).

I'm in Ireland but do work on UK schemes too so I was hoping we could have a switch we could flip as the markings are very similar in many respects but the naming convention is different.

Back to my original plan of making a massive list of all the different markings and finding which UK marking correlates to which Irish marking!
