PDF Import, don't want 2D polylines.

So I'm importing images because I want to do some etching. And issue I'm having however is that when I import from the PDF, some of the paths I guess are not close enough to a true arc, and so instead are interpreted as a 2D polyline. This is a tree silhouette, so even if I just select to not import fill geometry, I just end up with a lot of empty spaces. Is there are a way to either make all the 2D polylines 1 dimensional, or force CAD to not interpret the paths that way? Thanks.

IF you want different results you'll have to use a 3rd party PDF converter that can do what you wish it to do, assuming they don't use similar algorithms to compensate for PDF's lack of precision.

The built-in tool is not open for user manipulation.

Hi @Anonymous,

There are limitations on how the import will work based upon the quality of the PDF. Do you have a sample one that you might share by attaching to a post? If so, I am happy to take a look and try to  improve the way it gets imported.
