PDF File doesn't scale properly when exporting

When I print to my plotter from autocad it prints perfectly, however when I have to export it to PDF the PDF adds extra space. Usually on one side there is a large blank space which doesn't allow the file to scale properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PDF files have larger margin requirements than most physical plotters and printers: is that what you see?

Or are you just not printing the PDF file to your plotter to scale due to a missed setting in the PDF viewer's print pop-up?

i suggest from PLOT command >> Select DWG to PDF.pc3 printer .

I'm not printing the PDF file, I am exporting it to PDF to send to others via email but when I do export a large blank space is inserted into the side of the PDF. Much larger than a normal margin.

Did you try picking Landscape instead of Portrait?

PLOT command gives you way more controls than the 'export' option, start there, pay attention to the WHAT TO PLOT options.
