Paste special in 2023 not giving me options I have in 2022

In 2022, when I paste special I get Microsoft excel 2003 worksheet, and 4 other options.

In 2023 installed on the same machine, I only get text, image entity and unicode when I paste special.

How can I get the excel option in 2023?

Works fine for me in AutoCAD2023.1.1 in Win10pro using Excel365 Desktop

What is the source of your copied objects? What are the contents on your clipboard? Can you explain? Or upload screenshots showing the objects you are copying.

The options you get during Paste Special depends on the type of objects you have copied to your clipboard.

I open my excel 

Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2209 Build 16.0.15629.20152) 64-bit

and pick a bunch of cells (like in the first reply above) click copy , go over to my acad and click paste special. I don't ge the option of pasting an excel file like I have in 2022. Basically, doing what the first reply shows but I don't get the options in paste special.

I just added a few more locations to my support file search path and rebooted. Now I can copy from Excel with the right options. Thanks !
