PARAMETRIC Question: how to Create the same exact Parameters in multiple DWG files

Hi,

I have a project where I want a bunch of files to have the same parameters. Is there a way to write a script to create parameters from a .txt or .scr file?

Thanks

When you say parameters, what are you talking about? Are you talking about Parametric items, Text, Fields, block attributes etc etc..

Could you describe what you are wanting the parameters to do?

I'm talking about named values that you can set as "parameters" in the "Parameters Manager". Using these parameters you can give a line a specified length then if you change the parameter value, it changes the length of the line automatically. I'm hoping to find a way to have these parameters in a text file that multiple dwg's are linked to, so if I change a parameter in the file, it changes the parameter values in all the dwg's. This is possible in SolidWorks using the "Equations" feature.

@TheCADnoob Parametric Ribbon Tab, Parameters Manager.
I edited the post's original title to help the OP better than the generic title they used.

All I can think of is to create the parameters you need in your ACAD drawing template file.
