Hi,

I aim to create dynamic clock for a title border, however need to have 0,0 point on right bottom corner.

My acad2023 shows 0,0 point in the middle of the page. Any chance to set it up, so ALL paperspace will match same right bottom corner?

Thanks

>>"however need to have 0,0 point on right bottom corner"

Why?

>>"My acad2023 shows 0,0 point in the middle of the page."

Because you draw your object around the UCS 0,0,0 point..

Move your object to the position you want (and I can not see the benefit of it)

or move the UCS to the position you like.

Command: MOVE or UCS

Your picture shows the World coordinate system (WCS),

you can set up a UserCS(UCS), but you can't move the WCS.

If like liek to have the WCS 0,0,0 there, start to move your objects..

>>"Any chance to set it up, so ALL paperspace will match same right bottom"

Explain WHY you like to have the UCS 0,0,0 there, then we can help much better.

(Note: We don't know where your objects are in the other layouts, also not in other files)

From one who creates dynamic block I think you don't ask for "How do I change my block basepoint", right?

PAGESETUP command (lower-left corner) to fix where your 0,0 is located would be the way to go.
OR
Delete this layout then create a new one with a PAGESETUP that is more inline with your template settings.

Additional:

The PLOT/Pagesetup setting "Offset" has nothing to do with it.

PLOTOFFSET is from Paper- or Printable area

https://help.autodesk.com/view/ACD/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-6890E492-8774-4DFA-B808-9E179431E84B

so it's related to your pagesetup, not to the current coordinate-system

Thanks for your comment.

My major issue is the way how the paperspace size is change. As I'd like to use right bottom corner as the basepoint for my block I'd like to get all paperspace started as the green arrow shows. Right now is starts form the left (as per red arrow). Is there any chance to set it up that way?

1. No, you can not change it.

2. It has nothing to do with the ucs and ucs origin

3. You wouldn't have a problem with the pagesetup(change of papersizes)

if you would use the way I use it always.

My Layout is clean, only one frame and nothing outside!

My frames are designed the way I can use Plot area = Extents / centered!

And you never need to change anything, anymore.

It sounds you are using Window or the worst choice Layout as Plot area..

Sebastian, can you elaborate on this or even post your sample layout? Thanks.

Change your pagesetup to

Plotarea: Extents

Offeset: Centered

done.

Or what was your question for?

Thanks, but I don't seem to make it work as I would like.

I have a title block which I always want to be in the bottom right corner. When changing the paper size to a wider one, the paper is expanded equally to the left/right or top/bottom resulting my title block not to be located in the bottom right corner anymore. I am using custom paper sizes (roll paper) if that matters.

The way I offered needs to use a frame of the right size.

This way you can use 'centered' and your title is in lower right corner.

If you want to plot a smaller frame to a bigger paper (you want to have white space on the left and above!?)

it doesn't the solution

and there is not solution ootb.

Do you mean a frame in my title block, like a single block (title block and paper frame)?

If that's what you mean, this is not practical because I use roll paper which means lots of different paper sizes and I will need multiple titles blocks or a dynamic block which I can stretch.

>>"Do you mean ..."

I am talking about a rectangle which stands for the border of your drawing.

As Polyline, as Block, as dynamic Block  with or without the title or just 4 simple lines, doesn't matter.

>>"If that's what you mean, this is not practical"

Perhaps it isn't for you, but i am not sure we talking about the same!

>>"because I use roll paper which means lots of different paper sizes and I will need multiple titles blocks or a dynamic block which I can stretch."

That's right  but it doesn' to do with the roll paper or any other thing tho the topic, or?

You should start from scratch. Stsrt your own thread, add screenshots/screencasts to explain how you work now,

and what you do in case of another papersize,

show the issue.

Hi, just to share my solution. As I wasn't able to get basepoint on right/bottom, I have developed dynamic block with moving title's to match required papersize. See attached, maybe it can help you out.

Just beware: if you'd like to use attibutes you need to lock position in order to move them along with the border.
