Pallet Icons Block Images to Small

Hi

(I'm using 2018 AutoCAD)

I have a Master Drawing I have all my blocks in, when I add them to a pallet (dreg and drop and design center) some appear very small. I work out that it was the width of the MTEXT in the blocks that appeared to be causing the issue, so I have redefined all the text width to a suitable value. but this didn't solve the issue (in the master drawing). I ran BLOCKICON and no luck.

But if I save the Master as MasterX  the images are perfect, but then if I save the MasterX as Master and create an new pallet, the images are small again. I even created a pallet in MasterX, all good and then changed the pallet mapping properties to the Master drawing and the images redefined themselves to be smaller.

So it looks like the images for the Master are Cached somewhere, how do I clear them or is there another solution I'm missing missing

AutoCAD saves a thumbnail for each block where every object is visible, like if you're doing a zoom extents.

In case of dynamic blocks with visibility states, it takes into account the first upper visibility state of the list.

You should move the state containing bigger elements into the top of the list.

If the problem still persists, please provide us the dwg files for further assistance.

Hi no Dynamic blocks involved, The original blocks had Mtext set to 4000mm wide and when it created the images they were very small. I fixed the the issue with the Mtext but no matter what I did the pallet images would not resize, but if I created a pallet from a new drawing there was no issue. implying the issue was with the pallet for that drawing only. Renaming the drawing solved the problem but I did not want to do it as it was a master file. But I found the " .atc" file for that pallet and deleted it and now all images placed in the pallet are the correct size. The atc file must have stored the original images and would not update
