Options Menu

Recently l have tried to remove some line items from my Options Menu.

The process use to be very simple in versions before 2016.
You would click on the line you wanted to remove, hit the remove button and hit Apply.
The line item was removed, and DID NOT TO SHOW UP AGAIN.

For some reason, in 2016, no matter how often I remove an item it come back the next day, or next time I start AutoCAD.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is their a work around?

AutoCAD if your monitoring, why are you forcing the program to keep re-loading something I've told it to remove?

Thanks everyone and anyone in advance for any suggestions, help, etc.....

By "Options Menu" I assume you're referring to the "Files" tab in Options.  It sounds like you have a script running that reloads your directories.  This may have been applied to a previous version to fix a bug where AutoCAD sometimes loses paths to custom directories.  Can you verify that nothing like that is being run?

Did you do an upgrade and have your settings automatically migrated?  If so, and that's not what you want, you can go to the Windows Start Menu → Autodesk → AutoCAD 2016 (Language) → Reset Settings to Default.  This will remove every custom configuration you've done and will reset AutoCAD back to as if it were a fresh install with no settings migration.
