how to set the program to automatically open pdf when publish to pdf. Thanks

There is a check box in the publish dialog to open the odd in a viewer when it is done.

I have looked and looked as well as tried different forums but I don't have this button. Is there somewhere else I should be looking in Autocad 2019

If you are using ADOBE PDF printer, then insid ethe custom properties there is an option called "VIEW ADOBE PDF RESULTS", tick that one.

If you have PLOT IN BACKGROUND or PUBLISH IN BACKGROUND ticked, then the output will not open in the PDF viewer.
