OLE Object Selectability

I have a drawing created in 2004LT that has an embedded OLE object (jpg image).  I need this image to not be selectable.  In 2004 this was easy by right clicking the object and telling it to be unselectable.  I cannot figure out where this functionality is located in 2015.  Help please!

Try setting OLEFRAME to 2 and see if it is selectable

Setting OLEFRAME = 2 still allows the object to be selectable.

Sorry, I missread your post.

I don't believe there is or was a control that could make an object unselectable.

(imagine if you made it unselectable, you could never make it selectable again)

I would suggest placing the OLE object on it's own unique layer, and locking the layer.

Will this setting work for your situation?    IMAGEFRAME=0

Thanks for the suggestion, but I tried this and the image still gets in the way when editing items that are drawn on top of the image.  I think I will just have to use 2004LT to edit these drawings and forget using 2015...This was an easy thing when I used 2004LT.

FRAME command controls all frames: but since nothing changed between 2014 and 2015 AFAIK with OLE images (we use them regularly here), what's the fix that works in 2014 that you cannot get to work in 2015?

I wasn't referring to 2014, I was referring to 2004...yes, I was using 2004 until recently...old dog and new tricks...

Even in 2004 there was no such command to make something "unselectable".

Place on unique layer and lock the layer.

That was a command for LT, make ole unselectable by right mouse click (That's what it shows all over the net)

For full version, use OLEFRAME set it to Zero, you can click the ole, it highlights but no grips so you cannot do anything with it.
