OLE Image Objects appear blank

I have a drawing from outside my organization that has ole image objects in it. I have been using these drawings for years. Recently when I open these drawing files the OLE Objects now appear blank. I can't make any changes to the original image files because they were inserted as ole objects into the CAD file by another company.

"they" replaced your OLEs using a different method if this is not the problem https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Some-O...

Ask "them" for the source files of those OLEs.

Unfortunately my client says the AutoCAD Files they sent us are their template drawings and that we must use them as they were provided.  They are insisting that the images remain as ole objects and when I ask for the original images they tell me to check my settings and that the images must remain as ole objects.  Long story short they will not give me the source files.  I hope I do not have to resort to Photoshop with the PDF plot files I created a few months back.

Follow Up,  Drawings with these ole images that worked fine a few months ago no longer work.  I am starting to think a graphics card update or windows 11 update has caused the problem.  I will try opening the file on another computer.

So now you mention that you changed operating systems and/or got a new computer? The OLE links are most likely broken then?

try this tip https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-forum/attached-image-lost-when-reopening-the-dwg-file/m-p/924...
explore here too (beyond the print fixes) https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Some-O...

Also check the OLEHIDE variable and make sure it's set to 0

Uninstall AutoCAD, update your drivers, and reinstall.

"It is recommended --before-- installing the AutoCAD-based products to update all hardware drivers to Windows 11 first." (LINK)

If your not successful after the mentioned suggestions, contact Autodesk Support:

Hi @SDow3Angle

I'm facing the same problem.

Please make a report as @pendean said and windows as well thru feedback hub.

They said, they still investigate this error with developer.

Regards.

Khairul.
