OLE Failed to launch

I have a drawing from 2011 that i'm working on in 2017. If I try to open an OLE is get an error.

The AKN says to install the needed programs and/or updates. What seems to have happened is that between the time the drawing and linked MS Word documents were created and now is that we were switched from MS Word 97 to Office 360. So we now have MS Word 2016. It looks like AutoCAD is not recognizing Word from Office 360 as a program to open the OLE document. But I don't have any proof of that. I tried to edit the document directly but the OLE doesn't update.

The path to the project has changed but the relative path should be the same. So I believe it's a problem with starting Word. I tried searching for any issues with AutoCAD opening an Office 360 program but didn't come up with anything. Is there an issue or am I facing something else

It looks like it was the path. Possibly because the documents are now on a different server (or not). I used OLELINKS to update the path and now the linked files are working fine.

BTW. The reason I think it might be because of the documents being on a different server is that the links show the UNC path and not the assigned drive letter. The drive letter is the same. The UNC path is different. The UNC path is still active for the original server. So I can see where that would cause problems. Unfortunately the error message did not say the file could not be found. It said it failed to launch the server application.
