I'm trying to insert a line of bocks evenly spaced along a single line. I drew my line and then used DIVIDE to create Point Objects along the path at regular intervals. I have set the points to be an X with PTYPE and added Intersection to my OSNAP settings. The trouble is that when I try to snap my blocks to the Points intersection Object Snap doesn't work. It will only snap to the End or Midpoint of the line itself. Any reason for this? Am I missing something?
I had been thinking of the X of the Point Object as a piece of geometry but it is just an aid to make it easier to see the points on screen... Once I set me OSNAP to "Node" it snapped to it quite happily!
