Object Snapping and guidelines on but not showing

Hi lovely people,

Ive got an issue. Im not sure if I pressed something by mistake but Ive tried restarting my laptop and resetting my autocad settings to default but the issues still persist.

1. I have my osnaps turned on but whenever i draw a line connected to another line (1) as opposed to a free standing line (2), there is only one end point and Im unable to edit the end point, only move it.

2. Im also unable to see any green guide line as reference to use as a reference when I draw a new line.

3. Both cases 1 and 2, im unable to select the intersection with the purple line. (osnap0, intersection turned on)

To avoid a lot of guessing, post an example dwg file please.

Your floating PLINE out in space is the problem 

Why so far out?

I moved it all back to 0,0,0, see attached.

Thanks! Im not sure why, this was a drawing passed on to me. I normally try to flatten the drawing for cases like this, but in this situation the flatten command didnt work
