object highlighting

yesterday I could select an object, it would highlight just the object and nothing else.  today when i select the object, i get an entire highlighted box around it (and in some occasions 2 or 3 highlighted boxes).  how do i turn off the highlighted box, but still have the object highlighted when selected?   and thanks in advance for time and effort to help.

thanks to all who viewed my post above.  I actually found the answer.  The "Highlight raster image frame only" in Options dialog box was unchecked.

No, sorry, I don't. I didn't change anything. Saved and closed out EOB yesterday, reopened this morning. I guess just a glitch?
