NOT WANTING TABLE BACKGROUND MASK TO PRINT

I have made multiple tables link together in AutoCAD 2019. To make it easier to understand the links, I made the background masks the same color. But when I print out the drawing (in black and white) the background masks shows up as different shades of grey. Is there a way to keep the background mask in the drawings but not have it print?

Apply the MASK using unique colors which is not used anywhere else in the drawing. Now create a copy of your Plotstyle and reduce the SCREENING value of the colors used for mask to 0. This will hide them in the plot.
