You next step should be to attach a problem file, see if someone on the Forum can open it to prove it is valid. If it is, then you probably should repair your installation of AutoCAD. If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

You image did not make your post. You cannot attach images using email, you must do it from the Forum. If you file does not show an AutoCAD icon, it just means that the "association" of your AutoCAD files has lost it assignment. If you attach just one file, we can check it out.

Below is the CAD file that I'm able to open just doesn't show as a CAD files
I am using Windows 10. I dis-associated an AutoCAD drawing to demonstrate what you are seeing. The Screencast will show the process of associating AutoCAD with a drawing file. The process uses the extension so you should only have to associate one file to make all show the AutoCAD icon. If you want to get real ambitious, you can assign any icon you desire, you just have to know where the icons are stored.

This is great information John. I'm so excited, I just got this program loaded to my laptop so I'm excited to start using it and learning as much as I can.
I appreciate your quick responses and the below vid, I'm excited to get working on this.
Thank you very much!!

If my Forum post solved your question, please select the "Accept Solution" icon to do three things. First it allows others to find a solution to a similar question, two, it closes the Forum post and last, it acknowledges that you accept the solution given. If you need further help, please ask.
