No running object snaps for "zoom" in modelspace?

I have a model with a view lines.

In my layout I have a simple viewport. In Layout I activate "Mspace" and handle my model. When I use a "line" command, then my running object snap (for "end") works fine, but when I want to "zoom window", there is no reaction. I have to use the "single osnap end" for every point.

Why?

Is there a basic limitation for zoom in Layout with running objects snap?

Nothing to do with Layout/Model/Paperspace/Viewports..

The most of us don't want a running object snap while in Zoom command,

so it is "as designed".

And thats good for 99.99999% of all Zoom-Windows action in the AutoCAD world 😉

You can write your own "Zoom window end end" macro.

Hi,

You could set the OSNAPCORD to "0" which would let you snap when zooming with window.
