New drawings opening in different windows, not tabs.

Not sure why this is happening. Can anyone help me with this? When I have a drawing open and click on another it doesnt go to the next tab - it goes to a new window.

To make a drawing open in the current session you can use the drag-and-drop method.

Left click the drawing is its Windows folder and drag it to the ‘black bar’ above the top edge of modelspace (see image below) then release.

And check SDI, this should set to 0

Perhaps your DWG files are not linked to AcLauncher.exe (DWG Launcher) program,

Right klick on DWG file, open with.. DWG Launcher as Standard.

If you have your commandline visible (thats what i prever, and if you have a huge monitor - docked with 4 lines visible)

you can drag your file there too.
