Can somene PLEASE help me get a network license for free student version? I'm really runnu=ing into a brick wall and very frustrated. Our TechEd class is stuck with an outdated version where the license ran out and can't work at all. I'm desperate trying to help them We install from a local file server.

Here is a link that might help you.

Education Network Licenses

Your school should be the one setting this up, assuming you are a student there.

I have a network analyst willing to help me get my server license manage setup and needs a network license. I just can't seem to get my hands on one. It's kind of like a greased pig, as soon as I think I'm getting close i seem to end up right back where I startesd.Anyone that can possibly help me?

This link will tell you how to request a new license file.

You have to ask for the license file from Autodesk. You have to supply them with specific server information. They create the file and send it back to you.

So you have to install and get the request code before you can activate? Then you request the network license? When I try to request the license I always get stuck at the request code.

Yes. set up the license manager first. Don't install AutoCAD yet. Get the info required. Contact Autodesk for the LIC file. They will send it to you. Install that file and then you can start installing AutoCAD on the workstations.

Brian every time I click on the link for a license it takes me to the activation. When I begin to login and get to my account it stops when asking for an ac5tivation "request code". I don't have one so it won't let me gop any further. I tried putting the license and activation code I have but it errors because it wants a request code which is generated when you install and activate from the software. I'm attaching a screenshot of the dead end I'm at. The license manager is still installed on the server, I just need a new license file for it. That's where I got our server info.

Look Brian I may be an idiot but I'll attach my server info, serial# and activation code. Would you please see if you can get me a license code please? I'm really frustrated with this.

You really need to take these down before somebody else gets them and uses them.

If you worked with a reseller talk to them. They can provide you with all of the help you need at this point.

They were free form autodesk, I contacted our old reseller and because they don't carry it anymore they can't help me either.

Try logging into your account again. they switched to a new version this past Friday and there may be some issues. I can't do it for you. Only the administrators can do that.

OK, I followed the link. Am I really that dense or am I missing a live chat link staring me in the face somewhere on that page. Sorry for being such a pain, but this is the most painful experience I've ever had to endure! I've dealt with a lot of tech support over the years, but this wins it hands down!

Jessica,

That link isn't taking us to anywhere useful. There are no options on the page to contact Autodesk that I can find. Can you please assist?

Wow I've exhaustively spent hours trying to figure this out Jessica. I'm going to try to attach all the screenshots I just took of all the links I followed and (sorry) still no chat contact link. I just saw my teacher who is desperate now. Her students have to take an End Of Course test on computers coming up shortly. any chance I could share desktop with you or something to get this wrapped up? I'm REALLY frustrated. For the life of me, I can't imagine why this has to be so hard for FREE student software. Can't I just CALL somebody? I can only get three screenshots at a time so I'll post another reply with the rest.

Jessica, can you please just give me a phone number to call for a network license? I'm still getting nowhere with this loop I'm stuck in. It just keeps running me around in circles. I even have a disrtict tech trying to help. He emailed our past software distributor who requested my network license in the past, and because they don't sell it anymore, her contacts just put me back in the merry go round! My teacher is getting desperate, she has a deadline rapidly approaching for a state mandated test!
